Join us for a complimentary dinner and informative medical discussion on fall prevention by Dr. Vorbes Aleger Dr. Vorbes Aleger is an internal medicine physician who moved to Jacksonville, Florida in August of
2008. Dr. Aleger was born in Haiti, and has worked as a physician for about 17 year in the U.S. He did
his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at City College of City University of New York, and went on to
UAT in Tampico, and completed the Fifth Pathway Program and residency in Internal medicine through
New York Medical College . Dr. Aleger has worked for IPC Healthcare for 11 years, where he has held
different roles such as the Post-Acute group leader for over 6 years and several medical directorships in
various Skilled Nursing Facilities. Dr. Aleger believes in providing his patients with the educational
information that will allow them to continue to be autonomous and be proactive in maintaining a healthy
lifestyle . His dedication to medicine and passion to help others has been recognized by many,
particularly in 2014 when he was selected as the “National Post Acute Hospitalist of the year” by IPC
Teamhealth. Dr. Aleger currently speaks four languages, enjoys learning about different cultures, to
broaden his knowledge. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and giving
back to the community.
